hello i have a 2000 corvette and i work for gm and i have the chance to get a set of wheels of a 2009 c6 and i looked around and some people say they will fit others say you need spacers . i need to know yes or no and what size tire i need to run. thanks hope you all can help
they will fit but you will need spacers to get the wheels to be flush instead of inset or if you want the wheels to set in a lil then no spacers. at least thats what i was told and read about them
The offset on the C6 is different than the C5. I have heard that you need spacers. I have also heard that you do not need spacers, but that they actually stick out a little compared to the C5 wheel. I believe the spacers is probably the correct statement.
They will work fine. When I did my widebody on my 08 I used Z06 tires/wheels on it. That left the stock 08 gumby wheels and stock C6 tires. This past summer I picked up a 2000 FRC and put my C6 wheels on that. Of course I had to install the C5 tire pressure sensors in the 08 wheels. On hard cornering the rear tires would rub a little on the inner fender. I installed 1/4" spacers on the rear and now it's fine. Front offset is same as C5. Rrear offset on C5 is 56mm I believe, 79mm on the C6. So mine are about 1/2" set in further than the stock C5's.

when installing the wheel spacers did u have ti install new longer log studs and you used the c6 wheels 285/35zr19 right

Spacer is only 1/4" so I bought the extended lug nuts that have a longer shank on them to retain the same amount of thread engagement. If you used a bigger spacer you would either want to go longer studs or adapters. Tires/wheels are the stock C6 sizes.

Spacers in the rear or they will sit way too far in the Qtr Panel.
I looked but can't seem to find anything I kept that would help you. Do a search on this on teh forum and you should find the thread where I got the info from.
Follow the link below. This is for hub-centric wheel adapters. You can order different sizes to get the spacing you desire. I used them on my C6 wheels.

Wow, those are really cheap compared to others I have seen. It says the studs are "pressed in". I hope that means from the back. Usually they areound $300+, wonder why these are so cheap. thanks for the link

I searched on the internet for hours to find these. I was a little concerned at them being priced that low, but ordered them anyway. When they arrived I was very pleased with them. I torqued them to OEM spec's and have not had any problems with loose lug nuts or wheel balance issues.
What type of lug nuts did you use and were did you get them?
One piece chrome from NAPA Parts. They were a little more than the cheap ones that others sell but they won't come apart under the pressure of an air wrench. A friend of mine went through three set of the cheap two piece ones from autozone. Every time he would put the impact wrench on them the stainless caps would break off.

I have to agree, nice looking vette. So, do your tires sit in a 1/2" further than the stock set up even with the 1/4" spacer? I have a set of c6 rims to put on my c5 but I'm trying to figure out which spacer i need. I'd like to keep them flush with the quarter so I'm thinking like a 3/4" or 1" spacer?
. They pretty much place the tire just about even with the edge of the wheel well. You could probably even use a 15mm spacer and it would look good. One thing to note is that the stock studs are longer than the thickness of the 20mm spacer so the wheel hub needs to have indents where the stock studs come through the adapter. If the indents are not deep enough the stock studs will hit the wheel hub and need to be changed or shortened. I had these adapters on my car for about a year and when I checked all of the lugs for torque none of them had loosened.
