Default C5 stock muffler modification

Has anyone out there modified a stock C5 muffler for a more aggresive sound? I want to keep my Vette looking stock but want to be heard.

I wouldn't worry about keeping it stock for any increased value. Besides, if you put a performance exhaust on it you can keep the stock ones and put them back on when you sell it.

If you don't have the money for an aftermarket exhaust though, the bypass is a decent mod. Installing cutouts is another option.

Your the first i've read that says that. The sound clips i've heard make a big difference.

There was a post on here about cutting the muffler apart and changing the inside. I dont remember what all was done, but there were many pics.
