Having replaced three of these on the passenger door, I have to ask. Has anyone found a cure or cause for the top 2 tabs breaking? I would like to spend the $40 + on something else.
Hmmm...I've owned C5's for over 11 continuous years and I've never had this problem. Now, the driver's seat control bezel is another story. Those always break on me but at least I've figured out it's due to the seat foam compressing over time.

I have only ever broken them when I did the window tip in and had to remove tje reflector to get to the screw behind it. After breaking a couple of them I finally learned to pry from the bottom and not the top or they will break every time.

I used Testors Model Glue when mine broke and ran an extra bead along the back of the tabs and created a radius sort of fillet re-inforcement until my replacements arrived.
It's worked for me so far, so I haven't installed my replacements just because now I'm curious how long this repair will work...
I've used JB Weld to glue them back on and reinforced it with a small "L" shaped piece of metal backed up to it. Did not want to keep replacing them since I put LED's in them.
I broke one know how? left a full bottle on the seat and it rolled right on into to it. Boom no tabs. The bottle didnt break Glued it in place with super glue.
Yeah, my reflector came off my drivers side door because all the tabs broke. I ordered another and that one broke the same way less than 3 weeks later.
