My dealer just called to inform me that my new z06 was just delivered to the dealership today. After waiting nine months the car has finally arrived but unfortunately I still have to wait a bit longer due to ice and snow on the road. The dealership is 270 miles away and I don't want to risk an accident or damage from sand and stones the highway department puts on the roads to improve traction.I will instead wait another week or two until the snow melts and I can finaly get the car home.
Congrats! I just purchased my Z06 and I have to wait till the end of April or early May to get delivery (takes awhile to get to Hawaii). So two weeks doesnt seem that long to me :D Lets us know your initial impressions of the car when you get it...
I have good friends in Red Deer. I was thinking I might be able to get my car out in a month, and you can see why below. I guess you don't have much snow up there.
I'd rent a car hauler and get that baby in the garage :) At least this way you can sit in it and "air drive." ;) Get a few coats of zaino on it and keep others from sitting in your car, putting thier mits on it, and God forbid..scratching it with a belt or coat zipper at the dealership. Have you left yet???

We live in Calgary, about 90 miles south of Red Deer, we have about as much snow as you had in that picture!! I don't think it will ever melt! "canuckz" lives quite a ways up north and they have hardly any snow. go figure!
