B an M ripper installation went awesome and just wanted to make a thread so that if anyone is thinking about one, dont. Buy it immediately. So far mine seems incredible, love the way it shifts and all. reverse is a bit tough but what ever, i like it. Just making a post in regards to how good the shifter is.
And if the seller wants to chime in ill let him post his name out there. Great guy, awesome deal on the shifter, shipped on time i mean smooth transaction.

I got the ripper and love it. I know what you mean about reverse though and maybe I have just gotten used to it but it seems easier after 8 months of driving. Good positive shift though. Congrats and enjoy!
First mod that went into my car. There will be people who think other shifters are better and some who feel B&M one is the best. I love mine,. my dad loves it and wishes he did it over his hurst shifter in his 2000 Vert. To each their own on what they like about shifters as long as you are happy in the end.
Hey fellas... I am looking at the B&M ripper too... Can you guys chime in as to what **** you all have on the shifter. I don't know what the options are...
Thanks so much
Taryn
Dnealy--- You got me in your post about "making a thread for anyone thinking about buying one, don't." Nicely done

I got a derlin plastic ****. 2" version. I'm over six foot so, I went with a short ****. Got it from auger.com I think. Maybe two g's in the name. Cheap compared to else where on the net. Short friends think it's two short. Say you need a long one for road corse racing.
I thought it was real easy. I think I spent more time removing the stupid metal insert that locks down the factory **** than anything else. You might want to squirt some liquid wrench down the slot it is pressed into. I used a small flathead screw driver to act as a lever and flip it out. You can also use vise grips.
Hey guys sorry i was away from this thread for so long. I love the shifter, but i was in a motorcycle crash about 2 years ago and after a couple multiple procedures on my right shoulder putting into reverse doesnt seem to be liking me. other that i need a new actual shift ****. I want the hurst ball or the c6 shift ****.
