Build and sequence number
Does anyone know how I can find out what the build date and the production sequence of my 2002 Z06 was. I went to the NCM website and I see that I can order a build sheet but that probably won't tell me what I want to know. I bought it new in Aug 2001 so it should be an early build number, I want to know what number in the production run for the Z06 model would be . I know the vin number will tell you what number of the total production run it would be but not Z06 specific.

You can figure out roughly what day it was built on, but as far as the number of Z06's??Maybe someone else will chime in.

I ordered a build sheet for the Collector edition C4 I had. It came with another sheet that had the sequence number on it, but did not tell me which number Collector edition it was. I don't think they have a way to track the info you want since they make coupes, verts, and Z06's on the same line at the same time. In other words a coupe probably rolled off right in front of your Z06. Hope this helps.
