Unplug a 98 RV mirror?

Unplug a 98 RV mirror?
I'm trying to unplug my mirror without breaking something. I have read and read the different threads and most say press tab and pull wires. I press, I pull. I have pressed with small screwdriver and pried with no luck. I wonder if a PO super glued the **** thing. The tab at the top should be pressed towards the wires and not pulled towards top of mirror, right? In other words, the tab is part of the plug not the receptical?
I have C3s' and C4s', this is my first C5, what a difference.

my 99 was squeeze and pull...perhaps you should try loosening the mirror mount and pull it away from the glass to get a better look.

I had it dangling by the wires, used a flashlight and a magnifying glass. Still could not see clearly nor would it come loose. Thanks for the suggestion and reply. I think squeeze and pull is the same on the 98. Does the 99 have the 4 wire plug?

yep 99 has the 4 wire plug....I hate when sh** like this is so much work. 
if it makes you feel any better we cannot remove the mirror from my GF's 02 no matter what we have tried...we can unplug it but we couldn't get it off the glass for a tint strip..
