[/QUOYE]Between that pic and your avatar, you've got some serious moto-**** going there! My first bike was a Kawi 636, so I've lusted after a zx-10 pretty much since the first day I put a leg over a bike. That new model is serious biz too... just out of curiosity, which model is the Duc in the avatar? 749 or 999? I raced a 749s briefly... great bike, but kind of a turd when stacked against 1000cc twins!
BTW - if you still have the duc, you should be ashamed of yourself for not opening up that clutch and making some racket![/QUOTE]
I don't want to get to far off the thread here but that was my 999 the day I got it in 06 ( see my 96 Collector Car) .I I did EVERYTHING to that bad boy and still wish I had kept it. I had two (05) 749's for tracking and such but now I run a sv650 Gen 2. My past bike list is not to Crazy but I had a 05,636 a 07 ZX6R as track bikes too.

I have to ask, What Camera are you using to get that crisp of a shot, That doesnt look like photoshop's unsharp mask, and Im guessing your at least 10mp if not more( Im using Canon Rebel XT 8mp)

Hey thanks! It's a Canon 30d (8mp) with a 100-400 L IS lens screwed on the front. I use a Sekonic light meter to nail the exposure, and shoot in manual, jpg large. And nothing more then a pas of USM in Photoshop.

Wow Im guessing the aperture plays a big part, I know USM can do wonders, but its seems your pics are more clear than mine, I dont know if maybe the 30D has better noise control or what, but hmm thanks for the info!!

These were shot at f5.6 to throw the background out of focus as much as possible. Nailing the exposure in camera makes a huge difference too. More then most people realize. That is where the Sekonic incident meter comes in. And, a $1600 stabilized lens is an example of.. "get what you paid for.." It is a sharp lens.
