Trunk Ajar light stays on..

While sitting in my car, 2000 FRC, idling the trunk ajar light and interior lights started flickering. This went on for about 30 seconds to a minute. Now the trunk ajar light and interior lights stay on all the time. The trunk is closed. Did anyone else have this problem or does anyone know what's causing this.

Either a malfunctioning switch or a bad ground.

Sounds like the switch on the trunk latch; remove the cover in the trunk and then you can check the switch.

Try to adjust your latch so it pulls the trunk closed a bit tighter.
