I think I'm gonna go ahead and pull the plug and get a new catback system. Couldn't find a thread with all the types so I'm starting a new one. I don't want drone especially at highway speeds. I am into car audio so I dont want the drone fooling with my audio. The tips are very important so if you can post close-up pics of your system and describe what you have and your opinion on it....
Are any of the tips machined/beveled????
Want 4 tips.
Corsa Pace car with Pro Series tips. NO DRONE WHAT SO EVER. Quiet at high way speed. Great sound at moderate or WOT.
Quality tips with great polished look. Very easy to keep clean.
EVERY other system has drone, to a degree. Corsa is the only system with ZERO drone.
When I wasa in the market for an exhaust, that was my main concern as well, I didn't want vibration or drone in the cockpit at cruise. I found an exhaust that spent a lot of time in development and that was their selling feature - keep the sound behind you with a nice deep throaty sound. Ark Racing is the brand and I belive they were out of LA - All polished Stainless cat back system - pipes, cans, Tips very pleased with the set up - sounds good and quiet in the car....I will rty and dig some pics up - I know I have photos of it on the ground and during install but not sure if I have them in computer
...if anybody recognizes it and can tell me what it is, I would be grateful. It was on the car when I got it last year. It seems to be a very nice system - T304 markings were all I found when I took it off last summer after I bought the car to straighten the alignment of the tips. Looks great and sounds pretty good, but different than most systems I have heard on other Corvettes - I describe it as "exotic/European" sounding. Absolutely no drone whatsoever and very mild when cruising, but fairly aggressive under WOT.
I like your car, I don't know why, but it's awsom. Oh, here's mine.
