Fuel additive
I bought a bottle of Techron fuel additive. Is this the right stuff for the C5 to treat the fuel system?

That's the stuff. I use Shell High Test in my ' 99 FRC WHICH I bought new & been using Techron ever so often. Never had any problems including the "gasgauge issues".

We can't get Techron here, so I've used Redline Fuel System Cleaner after having read alot of positive reviews on the net. Seems to work fine.

I buy mine in Buffalo, you're not to far from the border, next time across, grab a six pac, good for a couple of seasons.

I'm probably gonna do that next time I'm in Plattsburgh NY. I think Walmart sells it.

Yes, the Techron is some good stuff to add to the tank of gas. Just wait until you get low on fuel, add the Techron then fill the tank.
