Why is this house famous????

Okay -
Look at the pictures. Okay, yes I know the Corvette is just awesome, but does anyone know what the house is in the background and what makes it famous??

A larger picture might make it easier.

Hard to tell, kind of looks like it's the house used in the tv show "Dallas" ('78-91). Southfork was home to the Ewings.

If that's the correct answer, keep in mind that half the people here were not yet born or were wearing their jammies when JR got shot there.

The Louisiana part is correct......way down the road from New Orleans!
