Yes, I have read most of the prior Bassani threads, and listened to the sound videos. Just bought a 2000 vert with a Bassani system, and I am interested in how Bassani is accepted by the C5 community in comparison to the other C5 exhaust systems, and how the stainless material withstood the driving environment. Most comments were 2-4 years old, and I'm wondering if opinions have changed over time.
Thanks for any replies.

I ran a Bassani x-pipe on my '00 and IMO it was an excellent product. I bought it to help reduce the resonance and popping I was getting with my B&B Route 66 catbacks and it did a great job. Had it on for better than 6 years and while my car was not a daily driver, the pipes still looked great after that amount of time. Not really sure just how good their mufflers are though. I was very pleased with my B&B set - high polished stainless and they always looked good.
I have the Bassani axle back with an x-pipe. It was on the car when I bought it in 2007. I like the sound and they polish up nicely. I've concidered other exhausts, but I'm a cheap bastard and won't change until they fall apart.
I've had my Bassani cat back for about a month now on my 04 vert. I just love the sound and the tips look great. Can hardly notice them with the music on. When listening to it from outside, however, it sure gets people's attention.
I had Bassani on my Lightning a few year back. Great quality and sound. I would (may) by them again for my vette. I don't think they are as popular w vette guys.....but they still are a great product.
I'm considering a Bassani exhaust for my 03 Z06 with long tubes and Borla x-pipe. I'm looking at the Bassani "Dominator GT Street" system in particular. Anyone have this system with long tubes and x-pipe? I've heard the youtube vids of cars with this setup from the outside and it sounds great but how is the interior sound? Any drone at cruising speeds? I'm also considering the GHL Bullets and Corsa Extreme systems because they advertise no drone.
