Default Temp Readout is too dim!
The numbers and controls have gotten dim and are impossible to read in bright sunlight.

The dash and radio readouts are fine.

2004, A4, 117,000 miles.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Search for dim a/c controls. Hundreds of threads, some with detailed instructions and pictures. Easy repair if you can solder.
