Default Quick Question...

I know this has probably been beat to death, but I was planning on lowering my 2003Z a little bit. I remember reading somewhere on a good amount to lower it, maybe 20mm (.8"). I read that was about the perfect amount to lower to keep optimal handling. Is that the perfect amount? Also, is that front and back? Thanks!

I don't have a measurement, but most people lower them on the stock bolts to the full amount that the bolts will do. If you are not happy with the height because it is not low enough, you can cut the bushing. Also they make special lowering bolts to get the car even lower than the stock bolts allow.

Thanks for the input man, but I think I remember somewhere going all the way low on the stock bolts hurts the handling? Is there any truth to that?

I lowered mine as far as I could on stock bolts and don't have any handling issues.

No. The procedure is even discussed in the factory owner's CD that came with the car new.
