I'm former owner of 2000 vert(bone stock) and looking at rejoining C5 fold. I'm looking at 02 vert with after market exhaust and air intake(sorry don't know brands and neither did current owner). During test drive, when letting off the gas, you could hear the exhaust popping, almost gurgling, not loud but clearly audible. With custom exhaust and air intake, is this typical or normal?

The car is 6 speed and has 28K miles, it drove fine and everything seemed ok..power, throttle response, idle, etc.

Very typical with stock H pipe and aftermarket cat-backs. Much less with an X pipe.

Default Normal

My 2002 Z06 with long tube headers and Borla exhaust does the same.
