Rattle in Driver door
I just bought a 98 C5, I love It! There is a rattle inside my driver side door. Is it very hard to remove the door panel? The rattle sounds as if something is loose and dangling. Anybody have an idea of what this can be and how to take the door panel off? Thanks

Easy. Take the cover off from behind the door pull. Take out the two torx screws. Pull the bezel off from around the door handle(insert a small flathead at a 45 degree angle in the slots of the bezel). Use a larger flathead, wrapped in a micro fibre cloth, to get between the panel and the door. Gently pry the panel, until it pops loose, at each panel plug around the outer edge of the panel. Lift the panel up off the door. Done.

I had a similar rattle problem in my 03. The bottom attachment on the front of the window track had broken off. I had to redrill and tap a new hole for the mounting screw. A PITA but it stopped the aggrivating noise.
