Default DIC Codes

I've noticed three times now, if I turn the key from off to start quickly, my DIC gives me several error messages ie "service traction control" "service ABS" "service column lock"

Won't clear until I turn the car off and wait a few seconds...then the system apparently resets and all's well.

Anyone else had this issue?

Some times DIC codes are related to low voltage (or a battery issue), might want to check your battery and make sure thats up to par.

Also probably a good idea to wait (just a second, or until the corvette by chevrolet scrolls) before starting. Some guys say it gives time for fuel pump pressure etc.

Now the colum lock thing is worrysome (s/p?), that can be intermittent at first but also can go straight to "you re not starting or moving the car" without notice. Might want to get the colum lock bypass done sooner rather than later. A search here will uncover many many posts about this issue.

So, what codes do you have if you trun it on (but dont start it, just in acc position) hold options and hit fuel 4x ? After the list scrolls by you can review any section with the other keys on the IC.
