Could someone with a factory 12 disc changer take one of the bolts that secures it to the bracket in the truck out and measure it for me?
I took my changer out too many years ago to take it apart and clean it up, and now I cannot find the bolts anywhere. I am sure some of you can understand how frustrated I am, especially since I keep my shop and tools very squared away.
I thought they were studs in the fiberglass? Do they come out from underneath the car maybe? From inside I was sure not...its a stud and then a nut on top of the bracket to hold it in place
What kind of measurement do you need length of stud or the pitch of the thread?

I am sorry, the studs and the bracket are still secured to the corvette. The bolts I am looking for are the ones the go through the bracket into the CD changer itself. There are 3 on each side of the changer. I would love to know the length and pitch of the thread.
oh so the bolts that hold the brackets to the cd changer on either side.
Those are tiny guys about 1/4 long. I dont have a cd changer or Id be able to help out.
Hopefully someone will chime in but you might want to edit the first post if not to make it easier on them to understand
