does dual zone climate control = HUD
basically just what the title says. I am looking to buy a C5, and many of the cars on autotrader, the seller doesnt mention if the car has the HUD or not. They usually show the radio/HVAC controls though. Is it safe to assume when I see the dual zone digital climate control that the car has the HUD, and when I see the traditional three **** climate control that it doesnt?

They either don't have it ,,or don't know !! Most knowledgeable sellers WILL mention it early on if it's there. Some may just be resellers that don't actually know much about vettes,,and I would be very cautious of them!!

On 1999 and 2000 models, the dual zone A/C and HUD were separate options. In 2001-2002, GM offered equipment groups - 1SB and 1SC. Generally the dual zone option was in the 1SB package and the head-up display was in the 1SC package.
In 2003-2004, the dual zone A/C became standard and the head-up display was included in the 1SB package.
