Default alignment help

I lowered my FRC, and am going to get it aligned this weekend.

I used ZIP front and rear lowering bolts. The car is not slammed, but roughly 2inches or so above each tire - just a good clean look.

Doe anyone have alignment specs they can offer for a lowered C5?

Z06 specs will do fine....a bit more agressive on the camber than regular C5's....go for it. Indy

Standard C5 specs or Z06 specs will work fine. Z06 specs are a bit more aggressive and will cause slightly more tire wear.

Are you going to do the alignment yourself? Cool. What tools do you need to do this?

Not a chance. I found a shop in Chester, VA which has an inground alignment rack. i am showing up when they open and having them do it.

Will probably go with z06 specs since the car isn't a daily driver..

Howlin... I finally did it alright. After spending too many nights, and too many beaten knuckles trying to loosen that bolt, i took it to zip and had them help me out. I had front an rear kit installed, but did not slam it. the front is all the way on zip bolts, and has roughly 1-2 inches clearance from fender to tire, and the rear is close to the same with roughly 8 or so threads remaining... I think it looks great. if I could figure out how to upload pics I would put one up to show...

I pay a lot of money for my tires so I'd go with OEM preferred.

Won't lowering affect the bump steer ?
Do you need to address that ?
