Default Exhausts

I'm currently looking at the Corsa exhausts, how much of a difference is there between the touring style pipes and the pace style pipes?

Difference is in the mufflers themselves, not the pipes. It is not a difference that you will be able to see externally either.

The Touring system is much quieter throughout the range than the Pace Car system. In fact I would go so far as to say - other than the appearance of the Corsa tips (which I happen to think are among the nicest looking tips in the industry) - there is not a significant difference in sound between the Touring system and stock.

The Pace Car system on the other hand sounds a little more aggressive at idle, and at WOT.

I highly recommend an X-pipe with just about any aftermarket cat-back system on the Corvette. No increase in performance, just a smoother sound.

Hope that helps!

If you want your car to be louder, don't even think about the touring.... they sound like our cars should have stock. (I'd still prefer louder). Pace cars sound nice, but I like the extremes the best.

The Touring system sounds very close to stock and the Pace Car system has a nicer sound.

In case you haven't noticed,,a LOT of forum members are biased towards LOUD!! Corsa Touring are QUITE a bit louder than stock A fair but mellow growl when you start up,,and they sing pretty when you get on it and wale pretty good as the RPM's climb towards red line!! The great thing is at cruise on the highway,,it is almost silent!! The stock Goodyear run flats make more noise!!If you are not trying to impress everyone in a three block radius,,Touring are fine! I was in the emission testing building a few months ago,,and was standing back(you have to be out of the car) and was somewhat surprised at the healthy bark from them when they started her up,,and was quite pleased at the healthy sound at idle. A lot of people knock them,,but they really DO sound pretty nice.
