Default Reading The DIC Codes, How Do I Do It.

I Have A 2004 With 28K on it and having problems with my security light staying on and the memory function not always working . Most of the time it works find. I Also Found That If I Hit The Unlock Button On my Key Fob That The Very Next Start The Security Light And Memory Functions Work Correctly. I tried to read the codes as stated below from another post but got nothing.
Tried cleaning the keys and even bought another new key.
WHAT DO I DO , Thanks

"Turn the key to the ON position, but don't start the engine. Clear any present messages by pressing the RESET button. Hold the OPTIONS button down, and press the FUEL button 4 times. This will get you into the CODES section of the DIC. The computer will automatically display all the codes your car has created. It will cycle through each code every 3 seconds. Any code that ends in H is a history code (something that has occured in the past) but is fine now. Once the computer has finished going through all of it's codes, press RESET to enter Manual Configuration mode. It should start with a module and show "NO CODES" or "# CODES".

To optionally reset the codes once in manual mode, press and hold RESET until it displays "NO CODES". Press OPTIONS to go to the next module. Repeat the steps in this paragraph until you have reset the codes in all the computer modules. NOTE !! Only reset the codes IF you want to - it is NOT necessary to do this."

Hold the OPTIONS button down, and press the FUEL button 4 times.
You are holding the OPTIONS button down while pressing the FUEL button, right? Use a nice deliberate press on the FUEL button. Not a quick jab.

The directions you have are what I have seen posted here on the forum for a long time and they have always seemed to work. Can't explain why they are not working for you.

No ideas here either. Same way I've read my codes 5 or 6 times.

Yes clear them all H means history see what comes up after you reset them and drive around for awhile. After awhile if you have some they will pop up then it's time to start diagnosing the problem(s)

In my manual i found that a c2120 and c2121 is a TPM system malfunction (no sensors Received) The book say's CONDITION FOR SETTING THE DTC.The vehicle completes a diagnostic cycle (driving for about 20 min. at speed over 15mph. The receiver has not received any TPM sensor information. these condition must be present for 20 min.So action is taken when the DTC sets, H FOR HISTORY DTC will clear after 50 consecutive ignition cycles if the condition for the malfunction is no longer present. This is related to tire pressure.
