My wife told me last year that I was to stressed and that I needed to go to stress managent classes. Well I checked into One on one counsiling and the cost was $470.00 per month. I got to thinking, I own my buisness so I will always be stressed and the cost of counsiling is just going to go up. So I bought a c5 with 19,000 miles My personal stress reliever. Now the only one with stress is her when I push to hard on the go pedal
And I am saving money too!!!!!!!!!!!
I awoke today feeling lousy, so I talked to my nieghbor who is a doc and was home on his day off. After some tests, he diagnosed me with a terminal disease and wrote a prescription. I opened it when I returned home. It said, "You have Vette fever. Get in Vette, turn key, start engine and drive.".
As I approached the sleeping Vette my heart was racing! Should I? The snow was mostly gone just leaving puddles on the road. Yes!!!!
I got in the Vette, started her up and backed out of the garage. I pulled on to the road and slowly accelerated. Faster and faster we went! I felt like a kid with a new toy! I rolled down the window-never mind the cold! I drove down the road listening to the sweet sounds of my NXT cat back with the Beach Boys "Little Deuce Coup" in the background. Wonderful!
When I got back to the garage my neighbor was waiting. I told him how i felt and that i was cured! He said sadly, no, I wasn't. I'd have to do it again tomorrow and every day thereafter to keep the disease at bay.
So ends my story.
To your point--I'm not sure how you 'Vette owners who live in winter-weather states can handle the long garage spells. Jeez, there are times when I have to work through a lunch hour, and by the time 6 PM rolls around, I'm damn near stir-crazy because I haven't been behind the wheel.
That will be my prescription in another month! Car hasn't hit the road since October... I can't wait for that "first" drive again! For now I have to settle for sitting in the seat, in the garage, making vroom vroom noises.
I just drove mine and the treatment does work. Unfortunately its 44 outside so I couldnt drop the top but later today its supposed to hit about 59 so the top will come down. Top down is the supportive medication.
Seems part of your cure package was the sound of that NXT exhaust. I've heard several people mention it but trying to find a source for it seems rather elusive.
