are valve cover breathers a must when running boost
i have a procharger p1sc on my car

Seems most guys run a breather off a valve cover in addition the the PCV system.

Idea is to vent the crankcase. If you get blow-by that pressurizes the bottom end.

From what I was told yes and a catch can also. FI can generate a lot of blow by and pressure. Post this question in the FI section for a more detail explanation by one of the FI experts. I just write the checks....I let the Dr's do their job, they recommend I buy.

I run a catch can with a check valve. Mostly because here in CA, you have to have a closed system for smog.
