Wiper Problems

my wipers seem to work on every level, just when i turn them off it stops in the middle of my windsheild instead of it being in the normal position it should be when its turned off..any ideas in what can be the problem?

Mine does the same thing. Never figured out why. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

On my sons' '99 that was the first sign of the wiper motor going bad. Eventually it would only work on high speed.

I haven't looked at the service manual but my last Vette (C3) had a limit switch for this. Turning the wipers off would not completely stop them till the limit switch was set.

so i toke out the whole motor and wipers and figured out the problem! the adjustment inside the motor was set on backwards..gave it a little turn and BAM the problem was fixed..toke about a good hour and a half after testing anything that could be the problem
