Default Hello from a newbie.

Hey guys! Just wanted to stop in and say hello. I recently aquired an 03 EBZ and looking forward to enjoying every iota this car has to offer.

One thing I have already noticed about this site though, why is there so much "FOR SALE" stuff in the "General" topics area? I've been on several forums and none have allowed anything to be for sale outside of the designated "For Sale" area?

Just wondering... Anyways- Have a great day, I'm looking forward to warmer weather!!!

Congratulations on the new ride

The only items for sale in C5 Gen are advertised by forum vendors. The moderators give them some latitude on posting since they pay to be here.

Enjoy

Congrats on your new ride. Paying Sponsers/Vendors are the only ones allowed to post in the General section, but they are usually welcomed because they are either promoting a new item, items that are in that were backordered, or a special sale so it's a good thing. Some readers don't make it to the 'parts for sale' portion and wouldn't know about a good deal coming

Like Nick says - but be sure to check the "for sale" section - some great buys!

Welcome!! EB,,cool color!! Supporting vendors pay a good price to be here,,Skimming over a few add is a small price to pay for a free forum with as much help and info that you find here. Many vendors are regular participants in daily forum posting,,offering conversation and help,,way beyond just posting their sale items. Black sedan,,Radioflyer,,Gene Culley are a few that come to mind,,that jump in on a regular basis, way beyond their business postings!! Hang around a while and you'll see!! Welcome to the forum!!

Welcome and congrats on the new ride.

I think you will find we are all true fans.

Most vendors drive Vettes and participate in the Corvette
Community in other ways as well.

Peace
Chip

Congrats and welcome.

Like me, you will come across a vendor post and say "hey I can use that". Hence, keep your wallet handy.
