Default Setting up gmeter app

I just downloaded the gMeter app for my Iphone. Figured even if its not perfectly it should be fun to play around with. I'm trying to get it all set up but I'm not sure of some of the numbers. Could you guys check my work?

The vehicle is a 2004 Corvette vert:

Vehicle Weight Curb weight + my 200lb self) 3448lbs
Drivetrain loss (A4 Automatic): 0.15 (?)
Rolling resistance : couldn't find this anywhere on the interwebs so I left the default .013
Drag Coefficient: I found .29 on the web but couldn't find anything different for a convertible.
Frontal Area 21.91 sq ft
Pitch angle: could find this anywhere... how much does the rear end drop under WOT? default is 2 degrees on the app...

This app is supposed to give you your MPH, distance seconds and use that info to figure out horsepower along with measuring forward and lateral G's. Reviews say its relatively accurate if you take the time to set it up properly. I figure I'll play around with it on my way to work tomorrow and maybe they'll finally let me sneak out onto the runway for a few 1/4 mile runs

I'll let you guys know how it works when I get home from work tonight

I downloaded the free version a couple months ago. Just fooled around with in my DD not tried it in the Vette.

Sorta fun and the price was right.

Check out the Corvette Action Center, they may have what you're looking for:

Sounds like fun, let us know how it works

Thats where i found most of the info I have already Still can't find numbers for rolling resistance or pitch angle though. I'll probably just go with the default and see how it works out. I know that by my passenger side seat-o-the-pants meter my car pulls the 0 to 70 on ramp run in in OMGWHERESTHEOH$#!^HANDLE seconds. It'll be interesting to see if the iphone guages it anywhere near what the magazines say it should run...

So i have confirmed one thing... I can't launch my car to save my life

It took me a little while to get the phone set up in a position where it seemed to be giving semi accurate readings but in all honesty, I think its actually pretty close. Leaving work I pulled out set the app to 0-60 and punched it. I forgot to save the first two runs but third run came out

MPH: 0 to 60.1
Feet: 232.0
Seconds: 5.6
Horse Power: 277 (Peak 389)
Forward G's: .69

I'm not a drag racer so I have no idea if those numbers look reasonable. My car is a 04 vert, A4/LS1 with a K&N filter as the only "mod" and the 3.15 performance axle.

I've let a few people who are much better drivers then my drive my Vette and they all come back saying it feels a lot faster then other similarly equiped cars they have driven. 389 peak HP isn't that far off from the advertised 350 for a stock LS1 so it might be pretty close...
