I would recommend you not "fight" stuff in the trunk of a Z06, not enough room.

Big enough to fit two child bicycles with training wheels in it for our annual Kerbeck Toys for Tots event.

If your hockey bag doesn't fit from the trunk, you can simply pull the latch on the back of the driver or passenger seat and slide the bag in... There's LOTS of room in the trunk, but the opening isn't as big as it COULD be. Although, I've had no issues with the size of the trunk lid. I put my old spoiler in it with out trouble. Also put $300-400 worth of groceries back there!

Know anyone with a Z06 or Convertible? Ask them if you can test it. I think the convertible lid is the same as the Z06's.

Hey while we are on this topic..I just bought a Z, and i noticed that when I pop the trunk it barely "pops" enough for me to get my finger under the corner to pull it up..If I had any fatter fingers, I'd be screwed. Is this normal or should it pop up more? Sorry if I hijacked.

Squirt a bit of W D 40 on the latch. It worked for me.

the trunk offers a surprising amount of room. As for the popping issue, I just put some white lithium grease on the latch and it started popping right up.
