can this even be done?
I want to have my climate control system painted Piano black to match my bezel. What I am wondering is, if I then paint the buttons, is there anywhere to get the symbol decals from? I think this would look great if it is even possible. anyone have any suggestions or ideas on the matter?

I might try and mask the button labels by painting over them with a very fine brush with something I can later get off, then spraying the whole face with a tint rather than a paint. Gradual darkening till its as close as Im gonna get to true black, then unmask the labels?
If you had a way to easily reproduce the labels well, you wouldn't be asking ;-) so trying to preserve them seems the way to go.
