Default OBX for real?

Has anyone had any quality issues with OBX headers? The price seems to good to be true but if they check out I think I'm gonna go for it!

Give you a bump back to the top!!Maybe some of the header guys will see and jump in. OBX draws LOTS of comments,,PRO and con!! Lots of members will flame them pretty hard,,some defend them!! I'll help you get it back where they will see it!!

I just ordered some so my fingers are crossed. I've read decent comments on them. On the other hand, LG has a good reputation and someone just showed pics of the horrible quality he received from them. No guarantees in life.

I ordered mine too and am looking forward to getting them. If you go to youtube and search, you will find several C5's with the non-catted version and I have to say... they sound AWESOME!

I have had them on my car for a year now as well. Went on just fine and no complaints from me and not just saying this because i sell them

you will need o2 extensions for the front o2 sensors
will need to drill tunnel plate for rear o2 sensors

Do you ABSOLUTELY have to,,,no! BUT the vast majority report that after a little bit the often start throwing codes,,,,so the practical answer would be YES!!!At least a hand held tuner!!

Nice looking setup and a really good price. Wish I were in a position to buy a set as that is one mod I want to eventually do to my car.

Headers are great. Install easy from the top. X-pipe is ok, leaves a little to be desired but if your no looking for all out power its perfectly fine. Overall, nice quality and craftsmanship. For the money, they're hard to beat.

Man you cant lose on the OBX setup. These fools charging 1xxx for their setups is stupid money and they laugh all the way to the bank....if you get a few less hp and save 400 or more...I would say you have done very well and can divert that profit you would have given away to something you can enjoy vs lettin them enjoy such ez money.

Dennis, you should show a good pic of the hole that needs to be cut in the tunnel plate.

They charge $1000 to create economies of scale with their R&D and development costs. A company like OBX comes along and steals their design. They can sell for less because they do not have these expenses. Look at Fisker and Tesla. Tesla basically funded Fisker's whole Kharma through the roadster. Then he turns around and gets the same $500,000,000 in government loans that Tesla did. Do you think Tesla can compete with Fisker on pricing when Tesla already fronted millions of dollars in R&D? Is this to say that OBX is the same as the name brands, no. But this is how the arrived at a product to sell.

Bah humbug!!!! If they can't get a patent on it, then it's not exactly an original idea of their's either. If they chose not to, then they can't complain.

Agreed, but if you were the guy fronting the money to develop the product, it would still **** you off when someone steals your idea without doing their own work, especially if they were to hit market at almost the same time you did.

I would never run these on the Z, but on the Vert, eh maybe, we'll see. Still better than stock.

I don't know how I feel about drilling the tunnel plate. Proof of no R&D right there
