I know that the question of CATs has come up before....but..
I have a C5 with stock exhaust with the exception of Ti mufflers
What would the install of high flow cats do for the sound. What about the removal of the resonators.

High flow cats,,if they are built like the ones I have seen from Random Technology,,you might notice a little more sound,,but not a lot with Ti exhaust. The mufflers will STILL keep things pretty quiet. High flows catalyst matrix is noticeably wider spaced and the body is smaller,,so sound will come through easier. There are no resonators in corvette systems,,what you are probably seeing is the pre-cats that were added to some 00's and from 01 on all. Two cats on each side. Cannot speak directly to increase from high flows specifically on a stock system,,as the ones I have seen also involved headers and rather"free flowing(read loud) after market mufflers
