Default head/cam 480rwhp+ help!

Well not quite sure how to start off but basically, i have 01 z06 with an ecs blower cam in the car right now basic bolt ons kooks 1 3/4", vararam, and ported tb. Im looking in to a tsunami cam from texas speed along with a set of 215 heads w/fast 102. i drive 3k miles per year. back roads and drag racing.

First question will this make 475+ rwhp and decient tq?
seccond if the answere to the first question is yes then, will this set up work down the road when i get a 408 or 418ci ls3? looking to make 550rwhp then.

Goals for the car with 475rwhp is to trap 125mph at atco.
goals with 550 are low 130's mph. Please help! Thanks in advance

I have a head/cam ECS 402(trick flow 225's) in my car, all bolts on, but I have an LS6 intake and I'm at 503/492 at the rear tire. I'm pretty sure that my combo, with a fast and a ported TB will hit 550ish at the wheel.

I have Patriot cnc stage 2.5 heads, ported fast 90 intake with ported 90mm throttle body,Texas speed MS3 cam, LG street headers off road x pipe, stock ti exhaust , 42 lb injectors and a haltech venom. My car makes 477hp and 415 ft/lb tq at the wheels. I think you will make more then I do with your setup. also, this is a 346.

You have the blower cam already, add the blower and you will trap in the 130's and 550+rwhp without the lopey idle.

Where you're sitting, and with your FI restriction, adding a set of Trickflow heads will give you the best chance of reaching your goals. You can also use them again when you go to a stroker motor. Talk to TEA, and get them to help decide how to finish the machine work, and cam selection, if you even need to change cams. I don't know what the specs are for the ECS blower cam, but it may be a great all around performer. Don't get out of the box heads, they won't be optimized for your application. The LS motors love compression, and if you bump it to around 11.25:1, the TQ, and even fuel economy improves. I went with 10.9:1 on my combo, with 92 octane only available here, but could have gone higher, I found after.

I would go with 225's if you wanna do a 402 down the road. I was dead set on the MS3 dor my setup but the tsunami makes better tq down low and peak hp. Im just scared of spraying with .659 intake life.

Hi George, can you explain this to me? I understand with a turbo you would see lag at times but with a supercharger, isn't that instant power? Or is there some rule where he autocrosses that you can't go FI?
