Hi guys I recently purchased an 03 z06 with 19000 miles the car is bone stock and i am looking at a procharger stage 2 setup for it,this system seems to be the most complete for the money.I am just wondering if anyone has any feedback on this system or maybe a better one.
A&A Vortech is the best value in a complete turn key kit! Thats what Im going with in a couple months after back and forth between H/C, selling my C5Z for a C6 Z and finally this time 100% keeping my Z and doing what I originally wanted to do last year! LOL... Search threads on FI. Tons of C5 Z06's running them and putting out great numbers. Email Andy or Steve at A&A.
ECS has the most reliable, 1/4 mile track proven, roadcourse track proven, endurance proven, street proven supercharger set-ups out there. With their kits and their innovative restrictor plate, you can turn up the boost and not grenade your stock block. You can make more power down the road without changing the head unit. Look at the fastest, most reliable cars in the FI section, their running ECS kits.
A&A or ECS would be the best two options to take care of your supercharger needs. Both companies have excellent products and you can't go wrong with either!
I personally have an A&A system with a Procharger head unit and all of A&A's newest brackets and components and I couldn't be happier!
Just some advice. I noticed that you're a new member which leads me to believe that this is your first Corvette. If so, congrats and welcome to the club. An 03Z with 19k miles is a great car. It's already stupid fast. Believe me, my 01Z with 92k miles still surprises me with how fast it really is. If the car is bone stock as you say, just enjoy it for a while. It probably won't impress you any more with a supercharger than it will without one. It's already going to beat all those cars that rev their engines at the stop light. Get to know the ins and outs of how it handles at speed, and determine your capabilities and limitations as a driver. It's tons of fun already. Play with it for a while. Once you think you've gotten everything out of it that it has to offer, then consider going with mods and upgrades. A supercharger right out of the gate is a pretty radical move. Look for something more subtle to begin with, and then unleash the beast down the road. In reality, this is your car and you'll do what you want to, but this car is already the most fun you can have on wheels without being naked in an RV on a road trip with the Swedish Bikini Team. Enjoy it for a while. Good luck.

Would you not recommend a new clutch, better valve springs and rear tires to make the power useful too??? Careful pfd17, it's a slippery slope, wise advice from the Beaver!
either way my first 2 cars were beat have high miles and needed to be painted.
my zo6 is the first nice vette i have ever owned,i want to do things right with this one and thats why i joined this forum i am sorry if i offend you guys but i was looking forr some advice on performance upgrades (like i said i want to do this one right)so i appreciate the advice but not the insults, thanks, sorry for the misunderstanding.
No harm done, we are all in the same club here. Welcome to CF. You will find alot of very helpful people on here. It is a great resource and I have learned to appreciate the advice and opinions of everyone. I just purchased my first Z06 (02 EB w/27k and lots of mods) about a month ago, my previous car was a black 94.

Dont know if you were saying I insulted you, but I dont see where I did.... Now, tell us about the 95 ZR-1. What cam (S) did you put in it? What car # was it? I just sold my 92 ZR-1 #091 ast week.
sorry 81 ,i get defensivein new places...anyway im an idiot i talked to my friend cause i didnt realize why everyone was saying what they were saying so i let him read the posts,i dont have a zr1,it is a 95 but its a coupe with an lt1 sorry, as you are finding out all i really know about vettes is they look nice and they are fun.anyway i really look like a moron right now,lol i thought the lt1 car was a zr1 but as my friend told me the zr1 was a limited run of only 6000 something made so i am learning.my friend eric did the work he put comp cam(s) in it i really dont know how many i know they or it is a 465 lift and 212 duration,i guess it was the largest i could put without re mapping the computer.again i am sorry for the misunderstanding and not that you insulted me i just felt like an ***.
Wait, you didn't know that you didn't have a ZR-1? I'm confused...
Anyways, I would do headers and some other little bolt-on stuff first before going with a blower, but that's just me... Heck my little cam, headers and CAI makes 421rwhp and is daliy-driveable. You have to ask yourself "How much HP do I really need?"
sniff sniff....? I smell something...?
Is your 03 Z06 an A4 or M6... gotta love the automatic Z06's.... I say Supercharge it and throw a nice stall in it..
