I did run my car briefly without anything from the header back and trust me, it's LOUD. I don't recommend it as you are a gaint / obvious target for any cop.

If you are looking for a sound like that I suggest a header with a cat back system, with a pair of electric cut outs which, in effect, will cancel anything down stream from them. The nice thing is you can open them and close them.. most guys that I know who have them run them open most of the time ( 90% ).. its nice to have the option to be less obnoxious at the flip of a switch.. most guys I know( about 5 guys), say its the best bang for the money, sound wise. Instant gratification too

You will get in a lot of trouble with the law if you run just headers. Just get some electric cut outs like Evil-Twin suggested.

Cutouts are the way to go. It's nice to have the option of going back and forth. You might need it more than you realize...

No, I like to keep my hearing. The car will be very, very loud and chances are the LEOs in your town will really notice you.

Default Contact Patches via PM or email

Ed has installed two different sets of cutouts.. the second set is head and shoulders above anything on the market... Ed is one of the nicest guys on the forum and welcomes the opportunity to help anyone...Most of his help will also include detailed photo , and installation instructions. he will work with you from start to finish so you will not have any issues.. I think his best cutouts are QTP.

I think open headers would get old really fast. Not to mention the exhaust and unburned fuel smell coming in the cabin when you're stopped or in traffic...
