Normal Throw Out Bearing Sounds?
Hi Guys,
I know its normal to hear the throwout bearing rattle off the line, mine certainly does.
I get a little rattle too when I let off the clutch in neutral, it sounds like it spins up then slowly quiets down...this doesn't happen all the time.
I also here a quiet clunk if I let the clutch out quickly with the rev's matched when downshifting or upshifting.
I'm assuming all these sounds are normal, as the car is new to me. Its the first car I've had that's higher performance, so I may just not be used to a less damped drive line?
It's a 2002 vert, with 16,000 miles on it.
