Default I removed the mufflers

So I finally removed the mufflers on the C5 and I am having mixed emotions. I honestly dont think that its too loud and the drone is not bad at all, I just am not to fond of the Motorboat sound at idle and the popping at decel. I am thinking of getting an Xpipe as I have read that it would take care of most of those issues. What do you guys think?

I know the x-pipe helps with those issues when there are mufflers installed, but not sure how it would work with no mufflers. Honestly, I think I would have just gotten a better sounding cat back system and run that, but you're the one that has to be happy with it.

What do I think?

I think cars with no mufflers are for poor ignorant rednecks with mullets.
I think you should put the mufflers back on it and when you can afford it, buy a catback exhaust system.

You asked.

If you got headers, x-pipe and straight pipe out the back it will rock, not the sound for me though, so I went with a Catback

Brother, I'm about as far from a snob as you get, and I think a Corvette w/o mufflers belongs in a trailer park. Just not the one behind my house.

Just one more check mark in the argument that the C5 is the new C4.
