Happened in North San Antonio, where I am heading in a few hours. Anybody know if he was a forum member?

This was in the OT lounge... one guy saw him walk out of a store with 2 18-packs of beer in the afternoon.
There is a news report link that said alcohol was involved in the late night crash...
Drunk driving.
I hope his family can find relief as soon as possible.

Wow, that really sucks. Prayers for the family. If alcohol was involed, vette owner or not, he was an idiot. I'm not saying he got what he deserved, because no one deserves that, and surely no ones family and friends should have to go through that.

I'm not clear on how the driver was showing off? B/c alcohol was involved, the driver made poor decisions ie accelerating way too quickly and driving way too fast and was unable to control the car. Drunk driving, especially in a fast car is just stupid.
