2000 coupe bose no base left side only

2000 coupe bose no base left side only
So, took my car out today and the bose stereo sound like crap. There is no base boost on either the front or rear drivers side, pass side sounds fine. errr where do I start troubleshooting? Any known quick fixes?

Front and rear? Hmmm... that points to the head unit but I would first try the easy stuff. First are you sure your not getting bass from the rear? If you are not I would say the best thing is to swap the rear speakers and make sure you do not have something weird going on.
Another option is pull the door panel and you can look at each of the two speakers one at a time. You can pull the speaker wires so you only hear one speaker at a time. Bascially where I am driving at it start figuring out what is not your problem. I would first make sure there is nothing wrong at the speaker level and work back to the head unit.
