Noticed today that the exhaust tips on the left side are about 1/2 inch higher than the tips on the right side.
Checked all bolts and everthing is tight.
Is there an easy way to raise the right side or lower the left side so they look good?
I have given up on "leveling - straighting the tips.
I've done something similar like that, but they always find their way back to THEIR spot. It's like they are alive anyways, let me ask a question.. does that man ever drive that car? Those have to be the cleanest set of pipes I have ever seen!
Thanks for the info. I'll give it a try next week. To busy now finally enjoying some good driving weather.
I agree on how clean that exhaust looks. It's cleaner than the inside of my car.
It gets worse when you have headers. They move...takes getting them straight then go out drive the car hard enough to make stuff twist/move then re-straighten. At least with my car that is. They are pretty good now, but not perfect...
Tips have always driven me crazy on this car. With the borlas they at least could be adjusted from the rear of the car, with the stock Ti i have to go under and loosen part of the x-pipe and sometimes the 2 bolt flanges. Have also put a couple washers under the left side hanger assembly.
