In addition to the vette essentials instructions, here are a couple of tips that I hope will help. You will need to re-use a few of the parts from your original seats (at least mine didn't include them, maybe yours did), specifically where the hog rings or zip-ties are attached. When you get to that stage you will find that there are strips that slide into the seams, kind of like a cardboard type material for lack of a better description, in the bottom flaps of the seat bottom. Remove them from your old seats. I folded the large flap on the bottom of the seat over the strip before securing. The smaller flaps on the left and right side have a seam sewn into them so just insert the old strip into them. I believe they are there to prevent the hog rings (I used zip ties) from tearing through the leather. You will also find that the DJ Motorsports seats use zippers instead of the plastic flange at the base of the original covers. Once you start working on it you'll figure it out, just take your time.

And yes, the seat controls need to come off and you have to cut holes through the new leather, you'll need to do this for the levers at the top of the seat backs as well. When I had my seats apart I found some of the wires for the power seats were chafing, in fact a couple were routed over the springs instead of under. I fixed that and taped up any wires that were damaged. I also put pieces of carpet under the foam and taped rubber tubing over the sharp seat edges.
