One of my rear tires has a nail in it right where the tread starts wrapping around the sidewall.
It's a Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. (non-runflat).
I don't want to plug/patch it. I just wouldn't be comfortable with that.
My question is, my rear tires have 15,000 miles on it. If I replace one will it make a difference the way it rides and feels?
Thanks,
Rock
Thanks Jim. I may have to buy four new tires. It seems the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's have been discontinued. Every site I've been to says they are no longer available.

Too bad... a great tire. Have they announced a replacement?

No need to replace all 4, there is nothing wrong with a set of different fronts and rears.
