Default Light grey interior photos

Everyone I'm stumped! I'm in the process of buying some new seats from Corvette Motorsports and I really have no idea which color to choose. My Vette is a 1997 Arctic white with what appears to be a greyish color. Some call it Pewter. The light grey shown in many cars looks completely different then mine, which has made me think I have light oak numerous times but now I know that is wrong.

Does anyone have an early C5 with what is called "Pewter"? I'd love to see some pictures as well as some light grey for comparison.

I went to the Corvette Action Center http://corvetteactioncenter.com/spec...97/97prod.html where they list Light Gray for '97 and Pewter for all subsequent years.

Just as there is a difference in Pewter and Medium Spiral Gray paint, there evidently is a difference in interior trim colors.

Hope that helps...

According to the website below, there is no such interior color as "pewter". Depending on the year of your Corvette, the interior choices were black, light gray, light oak, or red.

It looks like the only thing pewter is the Light Pewter Metallic exterior color from 1998 to 2002.

EDIT: Didn't see the post above; perhaps there is a difference... wierd that the website I referenced does not reflect that.

My RPO codes are 923 for the coloring, if I bring a trunk compartment into the house it looks light grey. But the seats and trim are not nearly the same light grey color, they have more of a yellow to them, maybe its just age.

I have a 99 and the color of the interior is listed as light grey.

Do you have a pic you can show us?

I will look in my corvette black book when i get home for you.

Excuse the mess, this is the exact reason I'm redoing the interior.

Yours looks a lot darker than mine. These were shot outside in the sun which may account for some of it, but it still is lighter than yours....

Mine is an '04, Pewter

After recieving my RPO build sheet from a forum vender it states this:
10U - ARTIC WHITE
92I - MED GRAY INTERIOR TRIM
923 - PEWTER LEATHER

I was thinking this was light gray but this is stating Medium gray interior trim which seems more correct and pewter leather!

According to the corvette black book the only interior colors that were a option in 97 were.....

Black
Light gray
Firethorn red

I couldnt find a code 92I but i did find 923 and it says it is light gray. It does not say anything on any C5 year about a interior color pewter.

Kind of interesting i always thought this book was the know all.

Your interior looks just like mine and my build sheet says light gray... i dont know.
