Default HELP, cleaning custom floormats advise???????????

Anyone have any idea how to clean custom floormatsfor our c5's, like Loyds embroiders mats. I have used the carpet shampoo and stuff like that from the auto parts store but the emblem is still very dingy and dirty looking. Has anyone tried putting them in a washing machine on a delicate cycle? Any sugestions I need help.

For Lloyd's floormats, I always use Woolite High Traffic Carpet Foam. Available at any grocery story or Walmart.

1. Spray the foam on the floor mat, let it soak for 2 minutes, then use a very stiff carpet brush and scrub the floor mats in all 4 directions for a good 5 minutes. Scrub the embroidery in the direction of the stiching, otherwise, you run the risk of tearing the threads.

2. Spray the floor mat liberally with WATER to rinse out the dirt and cleaner.

3. Then wipe and press a clean white towel into the mat until damp.

4. Air dry.

(If the Woolite doesn't work on the embroidered part, I use a mix of 3 parts water and 1 part Purple Power All Purpose Cleaner... O'Reilly Auto Parts... and scrub the emblem with that. Pretty strong stuff so be sure not to use it full strength. Only 3:1 or 4:1. Rinse thoroughly with water. Towel dry. That will get the emblems clean.)

Folex workes pretty good too, you can get it at home depot. I have used a dry vapor steamer to heat transfer the dirt from the logo with good luck as well.

We have a Rainbow vac. It works great to suck out the dirt and water from the mats. It's like a wet vac, down side is it cost about $1,500.'s
