Yes tinted my

2 coats the light are balck from like 10 feet away or in the shade, in sunlight it looks dark red. If u do one more
coat
it will be black regardless of
light condition

First install SLP Loudmouths. That eliminates the mufflers so you can just reach up and remove the sheet metal nuts that hold the side markers in place.

Otherwise pull the outer tail lights and pretend you're a gynecologist.

So I pull the outer tail lights out and then what? Give me
more
detail, what is holding the light in place?

They have two plastic posts that hold them on. GM uses cheap azz sheet metal nuts that screw on to the plastic posts.

Be very careful when tightening them down when re-installing.

The bad news is the post will break off the light very easily.

The good new is they will hold tight and stay on if you only break off one of the two posts. "The voice of experience"

First off I do live in California

Second if you are refering to the "TAIL LIGHTS" then those are actually covers "NOT" spray tinted -

Third the Side Markers and 3rd Brake Light are then ones I "SPRAY" tinted with the Nite Shades spray tint!

I have never had any issue and I have had California HWY Patrol around the Vette on the road, Local Sheriff's and LAPD as well as when I am out in other towns, and have never been looked at twice

Thanks,Matt

It is illegal and tail light tinting causes pimples too. Oh, wait, sorry that's all the 19 year old ricers that do it to Honda Civics with big fart can exhaust.....

I did 2 generous coats on the tail lights and 3-4 on the reverse and side markers, i also did not spray clear on them and it looks great, i was a little nervous about doing it myself at first but it was very easy and took only about an hour to clean, spray and let dry to the touch so you should have no problem. Good Luck and post some pics when your done
