take all the lights out, wipe them clean, two coat one right after another, let them dry and thats all i did, looks good so far.
blue 92, how did u do the side markers?? i could not figure out how to get them out.
First install SLP Loudmouths. That eliminates the mufflers so you can just reach up and remove the sheet metal nuts that hold the side markers in place.
Otherwise pull the outer tail lights and pretend you're a gynecologist.

So I pull the outer tail lights out and then what? Give me
more
detail, what is holding the light in place?

Damn how many coats is that?? That is black as it can
be, I wish I could do that here in California
First off I do live in California
Second if you are refering to the "TAIL LIGHTS" then those are actually covers "NOT" spray tinted -
Third the Side Markers and 3rd Brake Light are then ones I "SPRAY" tinted with the Nite Shades spray tint!
I have never had any issue and I have had California HWY Patrol around the Vette on the road, Local Sheriff's and LAPD as well as when I am out in other towns, and have never been looked at twice
Wow u are very lucky because I am preety sure having tail light tonited is illegal in california right??
Can u give me more detail on the tail light covers? Name? How they work?
It is illegal and tail light tinting causes pimples too. Oh, wait, sorry that's all the 19 year old ricers that do it to Honda Civics with big fart can exhaust.....
It seems as tho 2 coats are pleanty and no clear coat after......I'm going to give it a go.!
I did 2 generous coats on the tail lights and 3-4 on the reverse and side markers, i also did not spray clear on them and it looks great, i was a little nervous about doing it myself at first but it was very easy and took only about an hour to clean, spray and let dry to the touch so you should have no problem. Good Luck and post some pics when your done
