.....Viper on the way home today.

Cut out a little early on a nice Friday afternoon, the Sexy Bitch purring in the warm March air on the way home. I notice a flash of red in my rearview a ways back, but couldn't really see it that well. Lo and behold, a few minutes later this sleek and wide behemoth weaves its way behind me. 'Round these parts, I've seen maybe one other Viper in the past three years. Pretty impressive ride, I gotta say. An older guy behind the wheel. I was just puttering along, and soon he passed me.

Talk about junk in the trunk! Good Lord, the ***-end of that thing was HUGE! Not sure what tires he was running, but they looked like the business end of a steamroller.

I caught up to him eventually at a stoplight, him a few lanes over from me. I was close enough to hear 'ol Blue Eyes crooning "The Way You Look Tonight," though.

I know some here might frown upon it since it's not a vette, but I don't know how you can't appreciate other fine automobiles. So many toys, so little cash.......

Street racing?!?!?! Not that!

Yeah, the ride was pretty sweet. Reminded me of one of us - just a dude out enjoying a nice day in a sweet ride.....

Love the Family Guy reference, by the way.

They look goods but the ride is a back breaker there not very practical
my buddy has one and the vette rides like a catty next to the viper
not my cup of tea plus all that extra money for a few extra seconds . I'll pocket the extra 30 K

Why would Viper owner's be over compensating anymore than we are? I plan to own one some day.

For me ya gotta love um - basic 60's muscle car, no traction control, no stability control - just your right foot. I,ll never sell my FRC but I'm lookin now for an 08 Viper at a reasonable price. Gotta own one, at least for the experience.

I love the Viper. One of my favorite American sports cars. It's gorgeous and an blunt all at once. As Jeremy from Top Gear says about the Viper, "It's a big red axe murder, but I really like it."

As long as I have a C5Z, I'll take a Viper too!

The Vipers in this area usually wave.

This isn't always a good thing. Recently here in Texarkana, a viper was racing a vette , lost control and hit a pickup head-on. The Dr. that was driving the viper is still in ICU with no brain activity last I heard.

For me, I will take the traction controlled route, even if it is just for daily driving.

Yeah I would like to have a viper. Its like the Vette's less restrained and less refined cousin.

A good friend of mine has a '99 GTS ACR. All black with the stock grey wheels done in chrome Very sexy ride that's for sure Intake and Corsa catback exhaust it put down 437 to the rears ~Cole~

P.S. and before somebody comes up and says ACR's don't have fog lights, it's similar to the Z06's that don't have fogs. They can be added easily and when he bought it the guy had an extra set and put them in for free for him. The guy owned like 4 Vipers and my buddy said his garage was a Viper graveyard
