My buddy and I are going to the salt flats for speed week in August. Never been before. Anyone gone
in the past?
Tips or suggestions?

Went in 1999. The cars and the racing are something to behold. Bonneville is a geological wounder!!. Pick up a hand full of lake bed, run that stuff through your hand and you'll say, WOW. Have fun.
