My newly purchased Z06 came with Euro taillights. However, upon closer examination, there are zero bulbs going into the lower sockets where there clear lenses are. Is it just all for show?
Also, thanks GM for putting 2 guide holes into the front fascia for the emblem. I wanted a clean look and figured I de-badge the front emblem only to find those lovely holes staring back at me, so I had to put the emblem back!
If you check with Mid-America or Eckler's you should be able to find the wiring harness that goes with the lights. I seem to remember one of them sells the harness separately. This makes the directionals flash separately from the brake/taillight lenses. Also check the "parts for sale" section here on the forum. Good luck!
Did a search and found the wiring harness at Southern Car Parts and instructions/tutorial on how to install the new harness to make the Euro lights fully functional. Sounds like another project waiting to get done. The ease of access on the internet and Vette owners willing to share their knowledge is a wonderful thing.
