Default ECS N/A cam install getting close :)

Well i just got done ordering the rest of my install parts for my ECS camshaft. I had first gone with the ECS blower cam with hopes to doing a supercharger down the road but exchanged it for their N/A cam. I bought my car to open track, auto-x, drag race and for the street. Not to mention my budget allows me to buy parts here and there vs dropping 6k on a supercharger at once. Anyway here is what is being installed very soon.

1. ECS N/A camshaft ( goes with their TFS head/cam package)
2. Comp 921 spring kit
3. Trickflow pushrods
4. 160* thermostat
5. mellings oil pump
6. Katech C5R timing chain
7. Katech ported TB (already installed it lol)
8. powerbond UD pulley
9. misc gaskets, crank bolt

the car is a 02 z06 with ARH 1 7/8" long tubes, 3"ORX, vararam cai and powerduct with the stock Ti catback. It made 393 rwhp when i dynoed it after the headers/cai. Cant wait to see how it does after the cam.

Thanks ECS and KY SPEED for the great service and prices.

are you going to use a pushrod length checking tool to make sure you have the correct length pushrods? You are going to have to get access to the lifters though and I am not sure how that works on the LSX series motor as I remember something being special as you don't have to pull the intake to change the cam...

Nice, are you planning on doing a pictorial as you go along?

What are the cam specs?

I'll guess 470/420. Fast intake?

yes checking pushrods during the install and i hope to take some pics also. I am doing the tfs 215 heads and fast intake/tb next year so i am only hoping for rwhp in the 420 range.

You should be well above the 420rwhp range with that combo.
