Default exhaust leak in cockpit fixed

I posted the original question in the wrong forum (C6 General) but I wanted to follow up on the fix for the problem. Originally I had exhaust fumes in the cockpit. Since the headers and X-pipe had been added that was the logical place to start. Sure enough there is a slight leak where both headers join the X-pipe... the fix is to weld it.. it fixed the problem...

What if you ever need to remove them and do not have access to a lift?

Hehe.. I'll deal with that when I get to it.. can't do anything without a lift anyway... did the weld with jackstands... just have to break the welds... no biggy

A good set of turbo quality pipe clamps probably would have worked for you.
